When you submit a join or interest form, we may collect your name, age, email address, mobile number, country, state/region, city, how you identify (for example student or young entrepreneur), and any message you choose to share.
We may also collect basic technical information needed to operate the website securely (such as standard server logs).
How we use information
To respond to your interest in the Y.WEF community or the 21 Under 21 Fellows Programme.
To administer applications, mentorship matching, and programme communications.
To improve our website and keep our community safe and inclusive.

Young people and parental involvement
Y.WEF is designed for ages 12–21. Where a participant is under 18, we encourage a parent or guardian to be aware of their involvement and to contact us with any questions about data or participation.
Sharing and retention
Information may be shared with authorised Y.WEF / WEF programme administrators solely for running the initiative.
We keep information only as long as needed for programme administration, legal obligations, or legitimate organisational purposes.
